Overview

This server provides mail hosting, relay and forwarding services for external customers using their own domains. The operator of mail.timedin.net does not assume responsibility for content delivered by customer mailboxes or relayed messages.

Primary uses

  • SMTP/IMAP mailbox-hosting for customer domains
  • Outbound (transactional) mail for our hosted services
  • Forwarding and mailbox-only setups

Security & Best practices

  • We provide TLS (STARTTLS) for encrypted submission and retrieval.
  • We have strict SPF, DKIM and DMARC policies in place.
  • Rate limits and sending policies may apply to prevent abuse.
  • We are signed up to feedback-loops (FBL) and major mail portals to monitor deliverability and spam.

Abuse reporting

If you need to report spam, malware, or policy violations, send a detailed report (including message headers and timestamps) to abuse@timedin.net.

We are only in direct control for emails send for our following domains (and all subdomains):

  • timedin.net
  • timedin.org (not used for outbound)
  • timedin.de (outdated, not used for outbound)
  • 2t0.de (not used for outbound)
